Jay Jantzer is the President and Founder of Jantzer Consulting, a New York City-based firm that specializes in providing customized public speaking and presentation skills instruction for corporate and non-profit client organizations
Jay has over 30 years of experience in the private sector as a freelance project manager, producer, writer, Powerpoint and Keynote guru, presentation specialist, and graphic artist. He has worked on dozens of projects in a variety of industries, including advertising and marketing, medical research, corporate and global finance, music and live event production and promotion, and commercial real estate
Jay has participated in public speaking competitions in the New York area as a member of the Mad Toasters Toastmasters Club. He has also spent time in the equally demanding role of stand-up comedian
In the public sector, as Program Director for SuitAblity, a not-for-profit welfare to work program for underprivileged women, Jay created much of their CORE Program curriculum. He authored, facilitated, and presented customized seminars on Workplace Courtesy, Job Interview Skills, Embracing Happiness, Public Speaking Skills, and Networking
Beginning in 2005, Jay began customizing seminars on public speaking and presentation skills for educational clients such as the Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women in New York City, the Urban Assembly New York Harbor School, the Heckscher Foundation for Children, and City of New York’s GirlsREACH & BoysREACH Programs.
